Engineer II, Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design and development of tools that improve automation for deploying and managing CrowdStrike's cloud infrastructure.

• Establish and maintain a stable yet adaptable production environment.

• Investigate, develop, and implement systems that enhance cost attribution and cloud efficiency throughout the CrowdStrike ecosystem.

• Create systems and develop AI agents and models aimed at boosting CrowdStrike's profitability.

• Collaborate in brainstorming, defining, and constructing software solutions.

• Partner with internal business stakeholders and senior engineers to assess requirements and devise robust, reliable technical solutions.

• Enhance the team's technical expertise by introducing new technologies and methodologies.

• Contribute to architectural and automation strategies under the guidance of senior team members.

• Provide regular updates on the status of assigned projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience in a production setting and developing applications with interdisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in writing systems/applications for automation, tools, dashboards, and alerts using the Go programming language or other object-oriented languages.

• Familiarity with developing and integrating APIs using REST, GraphQL, or SOAP.

• Experience in designing schemas and writing SQL queries for relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.

• Practical experience with LLMs and building and deploying AI agents in production settings.

• Willingness to learn from and work alongside senior engineers.

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for acquiring knowledge about new systems and methodologies.

• Strong attention to detail and the capability to make sound, timely decisions.

• Background in writing automated unit and acceptance tests.

• A keen focus on security while developing or reviewing code and systems.

• Ability to work effectively and professionally with cross-functional teams as part of a global workforce.

• Must undergo and successfully pass periodic background and fingerprint checks in line with government client requirements.

• Understanding of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD systems like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Bamboo.

• Exposure to authentication or authorization systems.

• Experience with tracing and metrics in systems using OpenTracing and Prometheus.

• Familiarity with large-scale bare-metal hardware environments.

• Experience in machine learning, including model development, training, or deployment.
