Engineer Draftsperson

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Prepare, structure, and finalize high-quality engineering documents, which include process descriptions, operating and maintenance manuals, safety protocols, and technical specifications for tenders.

• Employ CAD software (such as Revit and AutoCAD) to create precise, high-quality technical drawings that adhere to industry and safety standards.

• Assist in the drafting and formulation of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for NPI utility systems (including water, fuel, air, and lubrication facilities).

• Work in conjunction with senior engineers to convert conceptual designs into detailed, construction-ready blueprints.

• Keep accurate records in the company’s document control system and perform administrative tasks and document formatting using Word and Excel.

• Contribute to NPI mining projects throughout all stages of the project lifecycle: PFS, DES, FEED, and Detailed Design.

• Aid in the creation of comprehensive tender packages and construction-ready documentation for mining infrastructure.

• Ensure consistent design continuity across all project phases to reduce redesign efforts, prevent scope creep, and ensure constructability.

• Monitor project changes and confirm that early project assumptions align with final engineering results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Drafting, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a drafting or engineering position, ideally within the mining, heavy industry, or NPI sectors.

• Proficient in **AutoCAD** (2D/3D) and **Revit**. Experience with **Navisworks** and a proven track record of creating P&IDs and PFDs is a significant advantage.

• Strong technical writing capabilities to produce clear, compliant tender documents and engineering reports.

• Eager to learn, self-motivated, and open to tackling new challenges.

• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative with effective problem-solving skills.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
