This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.
• Transform designs of VF-owned brand equipment and packs into reality by ensuring efficient manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, quality, and performance.
• Serve as a liaison between sourcing development and sourcing operations teams to uphold product intent while fulfilling commercial and operational needs.
• Collaborate closely with factory and sourcing development teams to gather commercialization best-practice feedback early in the product development process.
• Partner with vendors to guarantee product readiness for transfer to VF production teams.
• Represent commercialization in initial product-development-cycle review meetings with Asia Product teams.
• Utilize production subject-matter expertise to evaluate development samples' viability against commercialization standards.
• Collaborate with brand, vendor development, engineering, and production teams on patterns, fit, materials, assembly methods, and laboratory testing.
• Lead and monitor extreme fit-trial schedules and provide progress reports to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Oversee timelines and ensure accountability among downstream and upstream teams for BR and T4 readiness.
• Collaborate with the GMS mold-tooling team to synchronize extreme and full-size tooling timelines with BR and production schedules.
• Work alongside the costing team to verify sample and production patterns against yield utilization.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, technical, or production environments.
• Experience in reputable fashion, retail, or consumer-facing multinational organizations.
• Degree in Textiles or related fields such as Equipment/Apparel/Footwear.
• Expertise in equipment and accessories, LEAN manufacturing, automation, patterns, laboratory standards and testing, and materials.
• Capability to simplify complex engineering scenarios and information into clear verbal or written communication.
• Knowledge of equipment and accessories, technical constructions, laboratory testing, material performance, fit, wear, LEAN production, automation, and speed development.
• Ability to work autonomously or within a cross-functional, multicultural team environment.
• Proficient in conveying technical feedback clearly and effectively for troubleshooting and consensus-building.
• Strong grasp of paper-pattern creation.
• Excellent proficiency in English.
• Fluency in Mandarin is a plus; knowledge of local/regional languages is relevant.
