Engenheiro de Software Backend Pleno – Ruby on Rails

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop medium complexity experiments/features with autonomy.

• Create and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other necessary testing types to ensure software quality.

• Conduct code reviews for peers to ensure higher quality and share knowledge.

• Contribute to system analysis and design by participating in discussions about architecture, data modeling, and technology selection.

• Write high-quality, clear, and readable code while following best programming practices to ensure future maintainability.

• Collaborate effectively with product, design, QA teams, and other stakeholders, aligning expectations and ensuring value delivery.

• Implement AI in the development process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Ruby on Rails and backend development.

• Advanced knowledge of distributed systems and data streaming, including messaging (Kafka, Pub/Sub, or similar).

• Experience with analytical databases (Elasticsearch, ClickHouse, or similar) and transactional databases (SQL or NoSQL).

• Proficiency in unit and integration testing.

• Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
