This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Delivering an outstanding customer service experience daily in a phone-based setting.
• Managing a substantial volume of incoming calls from existing patients and acting as an ExactCare expert to address their inquiries.
• Making outbound calls to patients to create, update, or maintain their medication profiles.
• Providing effective support for patient inquiries over the phone.
• Navigating current case queues to resolve patient care issues.
• Acting as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and other healthcare professionals on behalf of patients.
• Executing claim adjudication and auditing tasks such as prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks.
• Collecting patient balances when owed.
• Keeping patient records meticulously with a strong emphasis on detail and confidentiality.
• Utilizing comprehensive drug knowledge to effectively handle prescription authorizations, clarifications, or transfers.
• Accurately retrieving all prescription information and confirming through physician calls.
• Entering a significant volume of data; processing prescription information with both speed and accuracy.
• Conducting welcome calls to newly onboarded patients and establishing a trusted point of contact.
• Collaborating with technicians and pharmacists to ensure successful onboarding of new patients to ExactCare.
• Thriving in a high-volume, fast-paced environment to support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base.
• Representing AnewHealth’s Core Values in all communications and interactions.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintaining current certification.
• Must hold a pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Age requirement: 18 years or older.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy environment.
• Comfort in a phone-based work environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset.
• Exceptional customer service abilities; adept at addressing the needs of doctors’ offices, pharmacists, and patients over the phone.
• Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceuticals.
• Understanding of pharmacy billing processes.
• Familiarity with appropriate procedures for taking prescriptions, clarifications, and transfers, including effective written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in utilizing computer equipment, technology, and navigating multiple software programs for medication authorizations, clarifications, and/or transfers.
• Strong skills in prioritization and organization.
• Commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
• Passion for helping individuals and enhancing their lives.
• Ability to handle objections effectively.
• Capacity for critical thinking and documenting relevant details in a compliant manner with state and federal regulations.
