Engagement Representative I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Reach out to prospective clients and follow up with leads to explain how Patriot’s software can enhance their business operations.

• Demonstrate our software to potential clients by conducting live demos via video conferencing.

• Build relationships with clients by delivering personalized customer service through phone, live chat, or email (no automated responses!).

• Assist new clients in navigating the initial setup process.

• Utilize your knowledge of Patriot’s accounting and payroll software to address customer inquiries.

• Serve as an internal advocate for customers to influence product development and new features.

• Continuously enhance your software knowledge, stay updated on new features, and improve your accounting and payroll expertise.

• Collaborate with a team to resolve customer issues and emphasize the advantages of our software.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.

• 1-2+ years of experience in inside customer sales (SaaS experience preferred).

• Outstanding customer service abilities, including strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in technology, with a capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools, including AI applications.

• Capable of working independently while effectively collaborating with team members through both remote and in-person interactions, including attending meetings as necessary.

• Must possess the ability to handle sensitive customer information securely and comply with the company’s data protection policies.

• Strong attention to detail, with the capability to document customer interactions accurately and promptly.

• Effectively manage multiple tasks at once, including fielding customer calls, responding to emails, and managing chats. This role necessitates performing these tasks efficiently while maintaining a professional workflow.

• Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.

• This position requires sitting or standing for extended periods (8+ hours) while working on a computer.
