Engagement Manager – R&D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee various project engagement teams, empowering them to organize and manage all delivery aspects, from scope to quality assurance.

• Take charge of the complete design, construction, and delivery of outputs that align with the overall goals and objectives of the project.

• Actively pursue business development opportunities by identifying and generating new project prospects, clarifying customer challenges and needs, and crafting compelling, unique proposals to address these issues and secure new work.

• Serve as the R&D consulting lead for one or more of our strategic accounts.

• Provide clients with exceptional insights into the industry, market, and functional areas, including a comprehension of R&D-specific challenges.

• Establish a robust and trusted relationship with customers, acting as the primary contact for both strategic and tactical inquiries.

• Create and share thought leadership content and campaigns that distinguish Veeva R&D Consulting in the market for Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Strategy & Operations, as well as Quality and Safety.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with an outstanding academic record.

• Over 6 years of consulting experience in a recognized strategic/management consulting firm.

• Background in Life Sciences.

• Strong understanding and keen interest in pharmaceutical R&D, having executed consulting projects in one or more of the following areas: Regulatory, Clinical, Quality, Safety.

• Highly proficient project management capabilities.

• Credibility and experience in engaging with senior-level key Life Sciences clients.

• Proven history of developing new, high-value/impact customer relationships.

• Demonstrated leadership in guiding others towards the successful delivery of complex project outputs/deliverables.

• In-depth knowledge of the R&D value chain.
