Energy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Serves as the local program and company representative for residential clients.

• Installs energy-efficient equipment and carries out pre- and post-installation verifications along with other technical data collection activities within a designated territory.

• Offers technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in line with client specifications.

• Identifies and resolves technical problems and issues, providing appropriate recommendations.

• Executes the installation of residential energy efficiency upgrades.

• Logs and reports customer and contractor interactions to program staff in order to comply with program requirements.

• Addresses technical problems related to installation, ensuring adherence to client specifications.

• Acts as the local, on-site representative for the program and the company to both customers and contractors, promoting program participation and addressing any barriers.

• Travels across a defined territory.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience.

• High school diploma or Associate's Degree.

• If applicable, must meet all DOT qualification standards and adhere to all relevant federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
