This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +11 more states.
• Assist in the daily operations and ensure the successful implementation of energy and modernization projects within the military housing portfolio.
• Supervise project scope, timelines, contract management, and operational efficiency.
• Create and maintain project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Track progress against established baseline plans and take corrective measures as necessary.
• Lead the management of scope changes, perform impact analysis, and maintain thorough documentation.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, deliverables, issue resolution, risk management, and accountability.
• Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans.
• Ensure compliance with organizational processes, policies, quality standards, contractual obligations, timelines, and defined scopes.
• Promote continuous improvement in project execution, subcontractor management, and operational effectiveness.
• Utilize data and reporting tools to monitor performance and guide decision-making.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, communicate project status and priorities, and escalate critical issues as needed.
• Facilitate status meetings and provide updates on schedule, scope, risks, and overall performance.
• Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive and transparent communication.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members; oversee workload distribution and communicate clear expectations.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in project management, operations, or a similar discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with external partners.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage personnel effectively.
• Experience with public-private partnerships, particularly in government projects, is advantageous.
• Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
• Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a knack for establishing clear processes and repeatable systems.
• Capable of managing timelines, deliverables, and interdependencies while influencing outcomes without formal authority.
• Comfortable working independently as well as in a collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to distill performance data into clear explanations for diverse audiences with varying levels of project knowledge.
• Skilled in balancing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required.
• Familiarity with Procore, Asana, or other construction management software is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, up to 20% of the time.
• A valid driver's license is required.
