📋 Description

• Create market projections and valuations for assets and portfolios.

• Prepare consulting deliverables, such as Market Consultant’s Reports, for utilities, energy development firms, financial institutions, and energy service organizations.

• Perform market research and analysis both independently and in collaboration with colleagues and management.

• Simulate the operation of power generation assets and portfolios utilizing proprietary Leidos tools, simulation models, licensed software, and databases.

• Initiate and contribute to innovative methods for assessing emerging challenges in the North American energy sector.

• Address client requirements and assist in internal development efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related discipline, accompanied by eight to twelve years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with six to ten years of applicable experience.

• Significant experience in economic consulting related to the North American energy sector.

• In-depth knowledge of major US regional power markets.

• Proficiency in Aurora, ProMod, or comparable utility/market simulation models.

• Advanced skills in Excel for on-the-fly data analysis.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both clients and team members.

• Strong analytical abilities, technical writing skills, and presentation capabilities.

• Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines across various concurrent projects.
