This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Attract and connect with business, institutional, and commercial clients via email and telephone communications.
• Offer guidance and remote assistance to participants executing energy-efficient initiatives.
• Track smart meter data following the implementation of suggested modifications.
• Partner with the internal Measurement and Verification (M&V) team to validate energy savings.
• Oversee extensive, multifaceted projects as a subject matter expert.
• Handle intricate client accounts that have the potential to yield significant energy savings.
• Establish strategic connections with key decision-makers and influencers among customers.
• Facilitate important meetings with senior stakeholders from client organizations.
• Manage challenging discussions, negotiations, and complex objections effectively.
• Strategically oversee customer portfolios and address potential obstacles.
• Evaluate data to provide insights, prioritize tasks, identify trends, anticipate risks, and enhance team methodologies.
• Mentor others on outreach and customer retention techniques.
• Suggest improvements for operational and Energy Advisor experiences to Team Leads.
• Resolve common issues and offer informal guidance within the team.
• Engage in knowledge-sharing, team conversations, and initiatives aimed at fostering a positive team culture.
• Minimum of two years of customer-facing demand-side management (DSM) experience, including energy auditing or advising in commercial, industrial, or residential environments.
• Over three years of professional experience, ideally in sales or business development.
• At least one year of experience in engaging potential participants through cold calls, emails, and meetings.
• One year of collaborative problem-solving experience with potential businesses and implementing energy-saving measures.
• Minimum of one year utilizing CRM systems such as Salesforce or Outreach.io and other software tools for managing customer engagement pipelines, tracking, reporting, and maintaining internal records.
• One year of experience in data analysis and interpretation to identify and resolve issues.
• Strong understanding of energy efficiency concepts and their applications.
• Excellent sales capabilities and a strong drive to meet objectives.
• Ability to build positive relationships with customers and team members.
• Consistently maintain positive and professional communication even under pressure.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Capability to work effectively in a remote team setting and engage in constructive feedback.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual skills are a bonus.
• Travel is not anticipated for this role.
