Endpoint Vulnerability Management Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate as a member of the Vulnerability Management Team, handling all aspects of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)/Intune planning, setup, deployment, and maintenance associated with Vulnerability Management and Patching.

• Plan and execute maintenance, upgrades, operations, and configurations for all workstation hardware and software patching and updates.

• Oversee the implementation, administration, and configuration of the SCCM/Intune Enterprise environment.

• Package, test, and apply patches and security updates for all supported Operating Systems.

• Package, test, and apply patches and security updates for all supported third-party applications.

• Offer technical expertise, guidance, and strategic recommendations to other IT teams.

• Develop, implement, and advocate for standard operating procedures and schedules.

• Conduct hardware and software audits to ensure adherence to established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field (e.g., information systems, computer science, mathematics, or engineering).

• Five years of pertinent technical experience in mid-level systems administration activities.

• At least two years of relevant technical experience with SCCM and Intune.

• Strong working knowledge of Tenable One Vulnerability Management.

• Familiarity with principles and best practices pertaining to SCCM, Azure, and Intune Policy Management.

• Proficient in PowerShell scripting, particularly in managing application installations and uninstalls.

• Experience in desktop deployment automation architecture, design/migration, and troubleshooting SCCM/Intune hierarchy and design.
