This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Gather and validate position-specific credentialing information using appropriate primary sources.
• Examine files for completeness, accuracy, consistency, work history, education, hospital privileges, and references.
• Ensure that credentialing files comply with Joint Commission standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Upload, maintain, and update provider and employee data in a secure credentialing database, adhering to federal and state regulations.
• Create and deliver reports or data summaries to department staff as required.
• Maintain regular communication with providers, provider office staff, and internal teams to gather information and offer status updates.
• Act as a knowledgeable resource concerning the credentialing and verification process.
• Carry out additional duties assigned to support the needs of the department and organization.
• High school diploma required.
• College degree is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Previous experience in credentialing or verification is preferred.
