This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee Innovo’s business development initiatives
• Accountable for generating new business, fostering relationships with potential clients, and finalizing sales in the employee benefits sector
• Actively prospect, identify, and pursue new business opportunities within the employee benefits market
• Create and execute customized sales strategies to achieve both individual and team revenue objectives
• Serve as a subject matter expert and a trusted advisor in employee benefits
• Propel new business development by representing Innovo at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings
• Collaborate with internal and external marketing teams to synchronize production efforts with marketing strategies
• 5+ years of demonstrated success in a sales-centric role
• Strong history of surpassing sales goals
• Experience in employee benefits sales or with insurance providers
• Background in selling group benefits (health, dental, life, disability) across various market sizes
• Capability to work independently, set and attain objectives, and excel in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment
• Proficiency with CRM software to manage leads, monitor activities, and finalize deals
• Active insurance licenses (Health and Life) required or a willingness to obtain them within a specified timeframe
