This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Manage, assemble, and repair equipment used for natural gas compression.
• Ensure all re-compression equipment is maintained as necessary before and after jobs.
• Prepare equipment in the shop prior to jobs (including maintenance/preparation), assist with the shipping and loading of equipment and associated paperwork, and document the list of loaded equipment.
• Aid in selecting suitable re-compression equipment for field services.
• Operate relevant industry tools and machinery, including forklifts.
• Execute operations and apply troubleshooting methods to resolve issues encountered in the field, ensuring safe and efficient performance of equipment.
• Complete an accurate Daily Field Ticket, obtain the customer's signature, and submit it to management by the end of each day.
• Perform Job Safety Analysis with all onsite personnel prior to commencing work to review and assess the re-compression work scope.
• Cease work immediately when unsafe conditions arise that could jeopardize the safety of individuals, equipment, and property.
• Identify patterns and connections; consider the broader implications beyond the immediate issue.
• Address customer needs and tackle problem-solving aspects of all field activities.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and professionalism in all communications with customers, engineers, vendors, contractors, and colleagues.
• Fulfill all training requirements and complete training modules promptly to maintain certifications.
• Advanced understanding of natural gas compression, with the ability to foresee, identify, and mitigate project hazards before they develop.
• Extensive expertise in operating, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various types of natural gas compression equipment, along with the ability to resolve issues and repair all equipment.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the midstream Oil & Gas industry with a focus on natural gas compression.
• High school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree or relevant technical certification is preferred.
• Capable of exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or more than 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 pounds of force continuously to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
