Emergency Medicine Executive – Point of Care Diagnostics

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement intricate, long-term sales strategies within healthcare networks that tackle customer pain points and enhance enduring partnerships with APOC.

• Navigate to key decision-makers within complex accounts, collaborating with local team members to cultivate relationships with stakeholders in emergency medicine, laboratory services, purchasing/supply chain, and executive leadership.

• Identify unmet needs and challenges in emergency medicine, aligning our solutions to effectively address these issues.

• Manage emergency medicine observation days to gather essential data that supports the case for change, synthesizing this information to craft a persuasive business case for presentation to emergency medicine and executive leaders.

• Mentor and guide customer champions through their value analysis and purchasing procedures.

• Direct customer change management from product implementation to alterations in workflow.

• Review impact and results over time with clients, collecting data on quality, throughput, and outcomes that emphasize the positive effects of the change.

• Coordinate and direct internal APOC resources throughout this process, including district managers, point of care solution specialists, enterprise accounts medical science liaisons, and implementation project managers.

• Consolidate customer insights, interactions, and opportunities in CRM (Salesforce) to facilitate broader team-level initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Over 7 years of sales experience in diagnostics and medical devices, or a combination of leadership, professional, technical, or clinical experience within healthcare environments (RN, RT, CLS, Medical Technologist).

• Proven capability to lead and motivate teams through influence rather than direct authority by aligning the team with a shared vision.

• Entrepreneurial mindset supported by strong learning agility and a commitment to continuous innovation based on market and customer insights.

• Quick learner with a history of being a subject matter expert in the market (products/customers) and the ability to identify and communicate best practices to internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, medical affairs, etc.).

• Documented success in Strategic Sales: Acknowledged as a Top Performer.

• Self-motivated individual eager to take initiative and driven by both personal and team success.

• Proven track record in developing KOL/product launch champions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM (Salesforce).

• Must reside within the designated territory and be willing to travel up to 75% within the assigned region and to other business locations as necessary.
