This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Conducting testing, installation, and maintenance of emergency lighting in various residential and commercial settings.
• Experience in performing monthly, quarterly, and annual emergency lighting assessments.
• Ability to replace faulty equipment (lamps, batteries, ballasts, gear trays, fittings, etc.), including first-time rectification within self-certified parameters.
• Proficient in accurately documenting all tasks using Oneserve and/or EasyCert.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism at all times.
• Comply with company policies and operational standards.
• Participate in training and contribute to ongoing business improvement.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Ensure safety in accordance with current Health & Safety regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of the electrical industry and emergency lighting systems.
• Familiarity with SMART LED lighting systems.
• Demonstrated diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to identify and report faulty equipment.
• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team.
• Accurate reporting skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable using mobile devices to complete electronic job sheets.
• Strong practical skills and effective customer communication.
• Positive attitude, dependability, and punctuality.
• Level 3 Electrical Installations Diploma.
• City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification (desirable).
• AM2 Assessment (desirable).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18).
• Knowledge of BS 5266 - Emergency lighting standards (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 12 months).
