EMEA Decarb Manager

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement decarbonization strategies tailored specifically for GE Vernova Gas Power clients.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with key customers.

• Comprehend customer needs, challenges, and objectives pertaining to decarbonization.

• Offer expert guidance and support to customers regarding decarbonization initiatives.

• Oversee decarbonization projects and opportunities from start to finish.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute decarbonization solutions.

• Partner with product and engineering teams to improve GE Vernova's decarbonization offerings.

• Ensure alignment with customers' decarbonization goals and regulatory requirements.

• Provide regular reports to GE Vernova business leadership with clearly defined deliverables.

• Direct and coordinate advocacy efforts with governments and stakeholders.

• Cultivate a culture of care and foster a LEAN culture within the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.

• At least 10 years of experience in engineering, P&L management, services, sales, and commercial roles within power generation or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years in a senior role with responsibilities and exposure to customer and government entities.

• Extensive knowledge of GE Vernova's customer base.

• Solid understanding of GE technology offerings and Combined Cycle Power Plants.

• Demonstrated experience in leading decarbonization projects or initiatives, preferably in the power sector.

• Proficient in English; knowledge of a second European language and/or Arabic is advantageous.
