This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with AI and Network Software Engineers to create low-latency multi-node communication frameworks in constrained and/or offline environments.
• Quantify, compile, and implement real-time multi-agent pipelines across various edge architectures.
• Develop algorithms for asynchronous multimodal data fusion, tracking, and signal processing tasks.
• Design and manage high-fidelity Hardware-in-the-Loop simulation environments for testing autonomy algorithms.
• Oversee physical assembly, system calibration, and rugged field-testing of multi-node prototypes in unstructured settings.
• Deploy and prototype AI models within embedded hardware systems for government edge environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to webAI office locations and government field and test sites nationwide.
• Over 6 years of professional experience in RF and networking architecture, tactical radio systems, physical bench-test simulation environments, and distributed middleware.
• Practical experience with embedded systems, signal processing, and bespoke hardware integration.
• In-depth understanding of physical SWaP-C optimization, network partitioning, multi-stream ingestion, and cross-platform development across x86 and Jetson/ARM64.
• Proven expertise in C/C++ and Linux.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience/military service.
• Experience in developing, testing, or deploying autonomous software on tactical military or defense systems and open architecture standards.
• Background in conducting field validation, site calibration, or operational testing of edge networks and ruggedized hardware in civilian commercial or tactical defense settings.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
