Email Marketing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and expand retention marketing across Email, SMS, subscriptions, and customer lifecycle strategies.

• Create outstanding customer journeys that enhance retention, drive subscription growth, increase repeat purchases, and boost customer lifetime value.

• Collaborate closely with Growth, Creative, Customer Experience, and Product teams to ensure that every customer interaction is intentional, informative, and aligns with our brand.

• Manage the Email & SMS marketing calendar for campaigns and automated flows.

• Develop, refine, and sustain lifecycle automations using Klaviyo.

• Implement SMS campaigns and automations (experience with Postscript is preferred).

• Formulate and execute strategies aimed at improving retention, repeat purchase rates, subscription adoption, and overall customer lifetime value.

• Maintain a structured experimentation roadmap covering subject lines, messaging, offers, send times, segmentation, personalization, and creative elements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience in Lifecycle Marketing or Email Marketing.

• Advanced proficiency in Klaviyo.

• Experience in managing SMS marketing (Postscript experience is preferred).

• In-depth knowledge of customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing principles.

• Proven experience in building and optimizing automated customer journeys.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret retention metrics effectively.

• Ability to balance strategic planning with practical execution.

• Experience in designing and evaluating A/B tests.

• Excellent copy instincts and a solid understanding of consumer psychology.

• Preferred experience in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) eCommerce.

• Background in health, wellness, supplements, beauty, or consumer products.

• Experience with subscription-based businesses.

• Familiarity with cohort analysis, attribution, and retention reporting practices.

• Comfortable utilizing AI tools to enhance efficiency and streamline creative workflows.
