Email Marketing Coordinator – Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary coordinator for email marketing services for designated client accounts.

• Act as the key liaison between client account managers and internal backend teams for all tasks related to email marketing.

• Develop newsletter sketches or wireframes based on client specifications and collaborate with designers to finalize the layouts.

• Research, curate, and organize content for newsletters and email campaigns.

• Oversee, schedule, and execute email campaigns using platforms such as Mailpoet, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar tools.

• Participate actively in voice and video meetings (Zoom/VOIP) with international clients, often during EST time zones, as needed.

• Review newsletter designs, content, links, formatting, and branding prior to client submission and final deployment.

• Monitor and evaluate email performance metrics including delivery rates, open rates, click-through rates, and engagement.

• Apply email marketing best practices to enhance deliverability, engagement, and overall campaign performance.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of all newsletter-related deliverables (content, designs, banners, approvals).

• Proactively follow up with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless campaign execution.

• Maintain precise records of client preferences, campaign notes, and deliverables in internal systems.

• Ensure that client expectations regarding email marketing services are met or surpassed consistently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in email marketing or a similar coordination role is essential.

• Practical experience with Mailpoet, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar email marketing platforms.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to confidently engage with international clients via Zoom or VOIP.

• Strong attention to detail, with the capability to review and quality-check work produced by internal teams.

• Ability to manage multiple client campaigns simultaneously under strict deadlines.

• Knowledge of email marketing best practices, deliverability standards, and campaign optimization techniques.

• Experience in designing newsletters is a bonus, but not a requirement.

• Comfortable interacting with international clients and adhering to tight timelines.
