Email Developer – Fundraising

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +31 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborating closely with the Senior Email Campaign Specialists to design emails and deliver high-quality messages tailored to donors' languages and cultures.

• Working in coordination with Senior Email Campaign Specialists and other teams to effectively implement the strategic plans for campaigns, including timelines, new features, and A/B testing, and taking the lead when necessary.

• Cultivating professional knowledge in Wikimedia's email and digital fundraising practices to address various moderate-level challenges.

• Advising and supporting the Campaigns team in understanding the intricacies of our Email Service Provider (ESP) to ensure optimal email coding.

• Conducting thorough quality assurance to ensure that emails are free of errors and function correctly.

• Aiding in the prioritization of tracking management and project development within our systems.

• Assisting with the segmentation of audiences for email campaigns.

• Collaborating with Associates to refine code in templates and maintain archives.

• Providing support to the Growth & Campaigns team as needed with the web development of banners on Wikipedia.

• Contributing to documentation and summaries for future reference.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience in coding HTML emails.

• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS.

• Experience in creating dynamic content and personalizing emails.

• Background in project coordination and working in a highly collaborative setting.

• Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality assurance.

• Exceptional organizational abilities and capacity to manage daily tasks alongside long-term projects.

• The expected hourly pay range for this position for applicants based in the United States is US$37 to US$56, with various individualized factors, including cost of living in the respective location, influencing the final offered pay.

• For applicants located outside of the US, the pay range will be adjusted according to the country of hire.
