Email Developer – Fundraising

📋 Description

• Collaborating closely with the Senior Email Campaign Specialists to code emails and deliver high-quality messages that are tailored to donors' languages and cultures.

• Coordinating with Senior Email Campaign Specialists and other teams to effectively execute campaign strategic plans, including timelines, new features, and A/B testing, while taking the lead when necessary.

• Cultivating professional expertise in Wikimedia's email and digital fundraising processes, applying this knowledge to tackle various challenges of moderate complexity.

• Guiding and supporting the Campaigns team in understanding the intricacies of our Email Service Provider (ESP) to ensure optimal coding of emails.

• Conducting thorough quality assurance to guarantee that emails are free from errors and functioning as intended.

• Assisting with the prioritization of tracking management and project development within our systems.

• Aiding in audience segmentation for email campaigns.

• Collaborating with Associates to refine code in templates and maintain archives.

• Providing web development support for banners on Wikipedia as needed for the Growth & Campaigns team.

• Supporting documentation and summaries for future reference.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience in coding HTML emails.

• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS.

• Experience in creating dynamic content and personalizing emails.

• Background in project coordination and working within a highly collaborative environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality assurance.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily responsibilities alongside longer-term projects.

• The expected hourly pay range for this position for applicants located within the United States is US$37 to US$56, with various individualized factors, including local cost of living, influencing the final offer.

• For applicants residing outside of the U.S., the pay range will be adjusted according to the country of hire.
