Email Deliverability Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform deliverability assessments for new clients to identify the exact destinations of their emails.

• Assess each client's promotional threshold, which is the mix of factors that lead their emails to end up in Gmail's Promotions tab.

• Set up and implement a tailored solution in Klaviyo for each client, then test and refine it until deliverability metrics meet expectations.

• Execute client campaigns as A/B tests and track success rates across accounts to ensure the solution is effective for every send.

• Explore new and creative strategies within the company's distinctive framework when conventional methods fall short for specific clients.

• Generate clear reports detailing deliverability tests and A/B test outcomes, then share them with the customer success team.

• Identify anomalies and deliverability challenges early on, providing updates to the team via Slack.

• Engage with clients as necessary to offer professional and effectively communicated support.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in email marketing, deliverability, or a related hands-on analytical position.

• A blend of creativity and proven problem-solving skills. You have diagnosed issues, tested solutions, and iterated until successful, and when a setup doesn't respond to standard approaches, you relish the challenge of discovering what will work.

• A careful and methodical approach to work. This position favors individuals who conduct thorough tests and rely on data rather than intuition.

• Capability to perform well under pressure while maintaining high quality when managing multiple client tests simultaneously.

• Adaptability when necessary. Client tests may not adhere to a set schedule, so someone willing to extend their day or check in during weekends when required will excel in this environment.

• Strong communication skills to ensure reports are clearly understood by the internal team and clients receive professional support when you are involved in discussions. While this is a plus, it’s not a strict requirement.

• Familiarity with Klaviyo, Gmail, Notion, Slack, or any CRM is advantageous.

• A fast and reliable laptop along with a robust internet connection is essential for this role.

• Openness to completing a brief skills assessment as part of the hiring process.
