ELO ECM Specialist – Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the technical management of our ELO ECM platform, which includes administration, operation, and ongoing enhancement of our ELO environment.

• Engage in project initiatives within the ECM domain, focusing on planning and executing projects aimed at implementing and advancing ECM solutions, as well as digitizing document-centric business processes.

• Design workflows and structures by creating, optimizing, and maintaining file/folder hierarchies, workflows, and authorization frameworks.

• Facilitate system integration by technically linking the ECM system with ERP, EDI, and other business applications.

• Provide database and interface support, including assistance with database queries (e.g., SQL) and ensuring stable data transfers between systems.

• Oversee governance and compliance by implementing and upholding archiving, data protection, and compliance regulations (e.g., GoBD, GDPR).

• Ensure stable system operation by maintaining high-performance operations, including providing 2nd-/3rd-level support.

• Collaborate across systems by actively participating in IT projects that have interfaces with ERP, EDI, and other business applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in computer science, vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker), or a comparable qualification.

• Substantial experience with ECM/DMS systems, preferably ELO ECM.

• Proven experience in administering ECM systems and configuring workflows and authorization frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of MSSQL along with experience in SQL queries and data analysis.

• A solid understanding of system integrations and interfaces (e.g., ERP, EDI, specialized systems).

• Experience in analyzing and digitizing document-based business processes.

• A structured and independent working style, complemented by strong technical problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to mediate between IT and business units.

• Willingness to engage in cross-system project work related to ERP, EDI, and other business applications.

• Proficient in German and conversant in English.
