Elixir/Phoenix Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Full-stack development: Create and develop scalable web applications utilizing the PETAL stack (Phoenix, Elixir, Tailwind, AlpineJS, LiveView). Engage with all layers of the stack—from the database to the user interface.

• Code quality: Guarantee clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Advocate for and implement best practices such as Clean Code, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration.

• Product ownership: Assume responsibility for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our software products. Ensure that our solutions fulfill customer requirements and undergo continuous improvement.

• Problem solving: Evaluate complex technical issues and devise effective solutions. Proactively detect and resolve potential challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of full-stack development experience, specifically with the PETAL stack.

• Experience in product ownership is highly advantageous.

• Strong expertise in Elixir, Phoenix, Tailwind, AlpineJS, and LiveView.

• Proficient in implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

• A strong commitment to clean code along with a solid grasp of design patterns, SOLID principles, and other clean-code methodologies.

• You value transparent communication, accountability, and teamwork.

• Ability to quickly integrate into an existing team and positively influence team dynamics.

• Analytical skills to independently address complex challenges.

• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and skill development, with a readiness to explore new technologies and methods.
