This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Oversee instructional programs for elementary students in an online public school.
• Enhance the instructional program through asynchronous web conferencing and synchronous teaching.
• Complete assessments, generate progress reports, and facilitate parent conferences.
• Maintain regular communication with parents, students, and teachers to create and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules.
• Provide constructive feedback on student assignments, recommend instructional strategies, monitor tasks, and mentor on special projects.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the K–12 curriculum alongside in-depth knowledge of assigned grades.
• Assist students and parents with alternative strategies and additional support for assignments and projects.
• Keep accurate student records and data, including attendance and contact logs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and learning specialists on enrichment initiatives and program adjustments.
• Foster and sustain a virtual school community.
• Engage in the organization and administration of state testing.
• Participate in student recruitment sessions and other marketing activities that require teacher representation.
• Attend field trips and community family events.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
• Certified to teach Early Childhood and/or Elementary grades in South Carolina, relevant to grade-level duties.
• Proficient in technology, particularly with Microsoft Office applications and Google Suite.
• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
• Highly organized and punctual.

• Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated success as a collaborative team member.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for school and state testing events, which may include overnight stays.
• Capacity to work remotely when necessary.
• Availability to work occasional evening hours as needed to assist families.
• Must be able to utilize a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication.
