This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Facilitate the instructional program through asynchronous web conferencing and live instruction.
• Manage grading, generate progress reports, and hold parent conferences.
• Create and revise Personal Learning Plans and schedules in collaboration with parents, students, and teachers.
• Evaluate assessments and give constructive feedback on student assignments.
• Recommend instructional methods and strategies while overseeing assignment completion.
• Guide special projects and assist students and parents with alternative strategies.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of assigned grades and a general awareness of the K-8 curriculum.
• Ensure student records and data are up-to-date, including cumulative files, attendance, and contact logs.
• Collaborate with team members and staff learning specialists to create enrichment activities and program adjustments.
• Propose social activities and relevant field trips, and coordinate regional field trips.
• Innovate virtual approaches to fostering a school community.
• Engage in the organization and administration of state testing.
• Take part in student recruitment sessions and marketing initiatives requiring teacher involvement.
• Review curriculum and develop alternative instructional methods.
• Participate in field trips and community events.
• Execute other assigned duties as necessary.
• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach Elementary (K-6) in Florida, suitable for grade-level responsibilities.
• ESOL Certification or Endorsement is mandatory.
• Reading Certification or Endorsement is required.
• Must possess a Professional-level Florida teaching certificate.
• Strong proficiency in technology, particularly Microsoft operating systems and MS Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and dependable.

• High level of adaptability.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• History of being a collaborative team player.
• Willingness to travel overnight for state testing, information sessions, and school-related events.
• Capability to work remotely when required.
• Availability to work occasional evening hours as needed to assist families.
• Must utilize a personal electronic device and email address for two-step authentication.
• Work in a tuition-free online public charter school setting.
