This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Analyze and comprehend design documentation as well as system data.
• Carry out high-quality installation and maintenance tasks for devices and components.
• Conduct testing to ensure installations meet high-quality standards.
• Install system raceway (conduit) and cabling.
• Terminate and test system cabling along with all associated components.
• Set up equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and all necessary mounting hardware.
• Adhere to all attendance requirements and project working hours.
• Communicate efficiently with both supervisors and team members.
• Implement and consistently follow all mandated safety protocols.
• 2-5 years of experience in electronics installation and/or maintenance.
• High School diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Capability to obtain a DCJS certification for work with the Virginia Department of Corrections.
• Willingness to undergo SSA suitability screening.
• Formal Electronics Training, which may include: Military Electronics Training, graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program, graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program, or an additional three (3) years of relevant electronics installation and/or maintenance experience.
• Current DCJS certification (preferred).
• Certification or experience with Lenel, Honeywell, Hanwha, Hirsch, Bosch (DS and VSS), and Milestone (preferred).
