This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.
• Identify and cultivate new business prospects, introduce innovative products/services, and contribute to achieving regional sales, order fulfillment, profitability, and ITO quality objectives.
• Create and deliver technical solutions that meet customer requirements, influence specifications, and prepare high-quality proposal documents that emphasize scope, benefits, and compliance.
• Offer technical leadership for Field Service proposals, which includes site evaluations, material and labor assessments, competitive analysis, and support for engineering scopes of work, timelines, and cost evaluations.
• Relay fulfillment requirements to sourcing and operations, document competitor activities, and support NPI initiatives to sustain a robust market presence.
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Engineering or Electrical Engineering) from an accredited institution with 6 years of relevant experience, OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience (experience with Power Distribution upgrades, Relay upgrades, and Arc Flash Mitigation Solutions is preferred).
• Background in application engineering or field engineering in power delivery products and systems, with experience engaging customers in sectors such as Oil & Gas, metals, mining, paper, Power Generation, data centers, commercial buildings, or similar industries preferred.
• Experience in reviewing customer specifications, formulating proposals, and managing contract development and negotiations is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficient in delivering impactful presentations and interacting with all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership abilities with a customer-centric mindset; capable of collaborating in team-oriented environments to develop complex, integrated solutions.
• Innovative problem solver with a creative approach to challenges, skilled in developing and drafting technical specifications and proposals using the complete ABB portfolio.
• Candidates must possess valid work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
