Electrical/Design Engineer – Aircraft Interior Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Possess the capability to independently design wiring systems and harnesses, including AWD, with a thorough definition of connectors, circuit breakers, and other standard components, as well as the Bill of Materials necessary for aircraft integration.

• Conduct Electrical Load Analysis and compile related reports.

• Execute EWIS and EZAP analyses and evaluations, and prepare corresponding reports.

• Identify and assess suitable components to fulfill electrical engineering design requirements.

• Determine technical root causes and propose corrective actions for identified issues.

• Estimate effort levels, assess new options in similar technologies, suggest process improvements, and provide feedback on various electrical design elements during design reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Completed training in Safety Management Systems relevant to aviation activities (design, production, or maintenance).

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Deep understanding of applicable airworthiness requirements: CS23, CS25, CS27.

• Comprehensive knowledge of pertinent EASA Part 21 requirements.

• Prior experience in drafting technical documents and reports.

• Significant experience with aircraft electrical systems.
