This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Electrical Services Superintendent oversees all on-site activities for industrial and heavy-commercial electrical projects, encompassing safety, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and customer interactions.
• This position is responsible for project performance, including safety, cost, quality, and schedule, while acting as the day-to-day contact for clients and reporting results to an Area or Project Manager.
• Implement all company, client, OSHA, and NFPA 70E safety regulations.
• Conduct daily safety briefings, job-site audits, and incident investigations.
• Communicate and coordinate updates on detailed work plans, manpower forecasts, and look-ahead schedules to company project stakeholders (e.g., Electrical Manager or Project Manager).
• Assign crew responsibilities and ensure craft proficiency.
• Direct crews and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project scope and expectations.
• Acquire tools, equipment, and materials; confirm deliveries and inspect incoming products.
• Guarantee the completeness and accuracy of documentation, including daily reports, time entries, and permits.
• Actively manage schedules to sustain project momentum and meet deadlines.
• Keep precise timecards, daily reports, and work permits.
• Utilize industry best practices to reduce rework, delays, and cost overruns.
• Monitor labor hours, material consumption, and change orders to manage the project budget effectively.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Operations for financial reporting purposes.
• Ensure all work aligns with customer specifications, industry codes, and internal standards.
• Perform inspections and implement corrective actions as required.
• Work with QA/QC personnel for documentation and turnover packages.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on-site.
• Maintain open communication and swiftly address issues or concerns.
• Foster customer satisfaction through transparency, responsiveness, and professionalism.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve project challenges promptly and effectively.
• Anticipate potential obstacles and take proactive corrective measures.
• Appropriately escalate issues while maintaining project progress.
• At least 10 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent in industrial settings (experience with Power Generation projects is an advantage).
• Strong understanding of project drawings and documentation is essential.
• Extensive knowledge of NEC, electrical installation standards, and construction methodologies.
• Solid comprehension of electrical services, construction techniques, and applicable safety regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members, clients, and stakeholders (bilingual abilities are a plus).
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); familiarity with Lotus Notes is a plus.
• Skilled in BlueBeam and/or Adobe software.
