Electrical Superintendent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the electrical installation of parcel conveying systems.

• Collaborate with the electrical PE, project manager, and customer to ensure successful project completion.

• Plan, layout, and execute specific tasks related to the installation process.

• Comprehend and implement the electrical installation as per the project manager's plan.

• Familiarize yourself with the installation drawings.

• Manage material tracking and staging.

• Organize tasks by crew assignments.

• Act as the field liaison with the customer's project representative(s).

• Develop the project installation plan.

• Handle contract change orders.

• Adhere to customer specifications and standards.

• Offer technical support to vendors, field installation personnel, and engineering subcontractors regarding inquiries.

• Share project-specific information with other MHS departments, including project management, purchasing, electrical engineering, field installation, and fabrication teams.

• Generate material purchase requests.

• Communicate information regarding changes to the project's scope as they arise.

• Uphold project-specific requirements while leveraging general knowledge of conveying systems, equipment, and customer specifications and standards.

• Be aware of opportunities for professional growth, cost savings, quality enhancements, and improved customer service.

• Review drawings provided by electrical designers for accuracy and supply feedback for necessary corrections.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in material handling electrical installation.

• Possession of a state electrical license.

• Familiarity with low and medium voltage power systems.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting these power systems.

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to read, understand, and apply customer specifications effectively.

• Strong communication skills with customers, vendors, and colleagues.

• Capacity to produce detail-oriented work yielding above-average results.

• Skillful in organizing and prioritizing various tasks efficiently and in a timely manner, managing personal workload, participating in priority setting, and meeting critical deadlines.

• Willingness to travel to job sites and customer meetings as necessary.
