This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Accountable for overseeing the electrical installation of parcel conveying systems
• Collaborating with the electrical PE, project manager, and clients to successfully complete these projects
• Designing, planning, and executing specific tasks related to installation
• Comprehending and implementing electrical installation according to the project manager's plan
• Proficient in understanding installation drawings
• Monitoring and staging materials
• Organizing tasks by crew
• Adhering to the project schedule
• Serving as the field liaison with the customer’s project representative(s)
• Offering technical support to vendors, field installation teams, and engineering subcontractors
• Sharing project-specific information with other MHS departments
• Generating material purchase requests
• Upholding project-specific requirements while utilizing general knowledge of conveying systems
• A minimum of five years of experience in material handling electrical installation
• Possession of a state electrical license
• Understanding of low and medium voltage power systems
• Experience in troubleshooting these power systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Capability to read, interpret, and apply customer specifications
• Strong communication skills with customers, vendors, and colleagues
• Detail-oriented approach resulting in above-average outcomes
• Ability to organize and prioritize a range of tasks efficiently and promptly
• Willingness to travel to job sites and attend customer meetings as necessary
