This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Oversee Creature’s electrical responsibilities on intricate commercial projects from the initial mobilization stage through to the final inspection.
• Take ownership of execution aspects—including safety, scheduling, quality, resources, and profit margins—and uphold the standards expected of every electrician on site.
• Collaborate with the Construction Superintendent to implement safety protocols, pre-task planning, and ICRA compliance for all active healthcare initiatives.
• Manage the electrical timeline: keep track of upcoming tasks, identify potential constraints early, and initiate recovery strategies to prevent delays from escalating.
• Ensure that all electrical installations comply with codes, contractual specifications, and Creature’s quality benchmarks—aim for first-time inspection approvals.
• Hold subcontractors to the same timelines and quality standards as Creature’s in-house teams.
• Make decisions regarding material procurement for the electrical scope.
• Oversee tool inventory and its deployment throughout the project.
• Propel daily production efficiency across all Creature electrical teams—set expectations, monitor output, and eliminate obstacles before they lead to lost hours.
• Mentor Foremen and Journeymen on effective sequencing, staging, and waste reduction strategies.
• Must possess a Master Electrician license.
• A minimum of 10 years in the electrical industry.
• 2 to 3 years of experience at the Superintendent level on commercial projects.
• Advanced skills in Excel for tracking productivity, monitoring costs, and field reporting.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel full-time across multiple state project sites.
• Completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check is mandatory.
• Preferred: Proven career advancement from Journeyman to Foreman and then to Superintendent.
• Experience in healthcare facilities, including ICRA compliance and medical-grade electrical systems.
• Familiarity with prefab and modular electrical installation techniques.
• Proficient in using Procore for project documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
