Electrical Service Technician – Packaging Machines, Field Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Commissioning of electrical systems and machinery, along with modifications and retrofits at client locations both domestically and internationally.

• Installation of machinery and inspection/testing of control cabinets.

• Assistance with FAT/SAT (Factory Acceptance Test / Site Acceptance Test) both internally and at customer sites.

• Evaluation and resolution of electrical issues, including troubleshooting of controllers, sensors, and actuators.

• Conducting maintenance and service visits while implementing enhancement measures related to stability or performance.

• Preparation of service reports and documentation of tasks performed.

• Training and guiding customers’ operating and maintenance teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an electrician/electronics technician (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d), or equivalent qualification.

• Several years of professional experience in machinery or plant engineering is preferred.

• Strong understanding of circuit/wiring diagrams (EPLAN P8) as well as drive systems and sensor technology.

• Independent, organized, reliable, and service-oriented work ethic.

• Customer-oriented approach and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to learn, with opportunities for advancement to a site manager role.

• Willingness to travel (minimum of 50%; a company car is included in the position and may be used for personal purposes).

• Proficient in German and basic English skills.

• Valid driver's license class B.
