This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Execute the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, which include switchgear, transformers, control panels, and power distribution equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of electrical issues while ensuring minimal downtime.
• Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Ensure adherence to national and international electrical standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE).
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and contractors to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Generate technical reports, test results, and as-built documentation.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Apply and enforce safety protocols and quality standards at job sites.
• Offer technical training and support to technicians and junior engineers.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5+ years of field experience, depending on the job level.
• A solid understanding of power systems, protection, and control circuits.
• Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB, or similar software.
• Familiarity with PLCs, drives, and automation systems is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Openness to travel and work in field environments.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• OSHA Electrical Safety Certification.
• NFPA 70E / IEC safety training.
• HV/LV Switching authorization.
