This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Execute tasks according to the schedule provided by the Services Manager or Supervisor, adhering to site policies, schedules, and procedures.
• Diagnose equipment issues as necessary, following guidance from site supervisors.
• Conduct Risk Assessments for Equipment Maintenance Task Lists and ensure their validity at all times.
• Update maintenance task lists and site documentation as required.
• Carry out periodic reviews of EWI/SOP to maintain the currency and validity of documents.
• Perform all onsite work in compliance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Veolia EHS regulations and guidelines.
• Exhibit flexibility to work on equipment in all buildings, navigate Maintenance Shutdowns, and be knowledgeable about GMP rules and Statutory requirements.
• Engage in Audits of the Mechanical and Electrical plant rooms and follow through on identified actions.
• Ensure the CMMS system reflects the most current information regarding equipment data, spare parts, and maintenance labor hours.
• This position is field-based with nationwide coverage, requiring travel to multiple sites, primarily focusing on sewage treatment facilities.
• Be prepared to stay away from home as necessary to meet operational demands.
• Participate in a periodic call-out rota to provide 24/7 coverage for one week at a time.
• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (2365) or an equivalent NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Current and valid City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing certification.
• Certification in the 18th Edition BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
• Proficient understanding of Pumps, HVAC Systems, Compressors, Boilers, steam systems and ancillary services (DHW skids), Chillers, Cooling Towers, Clean steam Boilers, and Purified Water Systems.
• Capability to read and interpret P&ID’s and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with SOPs and GMP Engineering systems.
