This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, analyze, and implement electrical systems for data center infrastructure, which includes switchboards, switchgear, PDUs, modular power pods, RPPs, backup power systems, and monitoring systems.
• Develop, review, and maintain single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and specifications.
• Ensure that designs align with customer requirements, adhere to industry standards, and reflect best practices.
• Support new product development initiatives with an emphasis on modular, scalable, and manufacturable designs.
• Create and execute electrical test protocols, commissioning plans, and validation testing procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely project delivery and achievement of business objectives.
• Provide technical support throughout the design, manufacturing, installation, and operational phases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree is preferred).
• Over 5 years of experience in electrical design for power distribution equipment (e.g., switchboards, switchgear, PDUs).
• Strong understanding of electrical standards such as UL891, UL1062, UL1008, UL1558, NEC, and IEC.
• Proficient in CAD tools like AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar software.
• Experience with low- and medium-voltage systems (up to 38kV).
• Background in electrical testing and commissioning.
• Willingness to travel up to 25–30%.
