This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Create 480VAC power distribution systems, heavy-load feeders, and electrical layouts for large facilities.
• Specify and design electrical and control systems for industrial blasting and coating operations.
• Generate schematics, panel layouts, and comprehensive electrical documentation using AutoCAD.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and other relevant standards in all designs.
• Work in collaboration with Project Managers, Engineers, and Subject Matter Experts to incorporate electrical systems into the overall facility design.
• Assist procurement and vendors to confirm that components adhere to required standards and specifications.
• Offer technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at project locations.
• Over 5 years of experience in electrical engineering focusing on industrial or large-facility projects.
• Extensive knowledge in heavy power design including main feeders, distribution systems, and high-load equipment.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore is an advantage.
• Familiar with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
• Understanding of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and related regulations.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
