Electrical Designer II, Arc Flash

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop, draft, and publish electrical construction documentation for data centers and prestigious commercial projects.

• Execute drafting tasks under the guidance of project managers and engineers, ensuring adherence to project specifications.

• Ensure that projects are finalized accurately, effectively, and within set deadlines.

• Establish and maintain company-specific AutoCAD standards and technical specifications.

• Collaborate with project teams to address design issues and enhance drafting workflows.

• Perform quality assurance checks to verify accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

• Assist in project documentation, including design modifications, as-built drawings, and technical submissions.

• Aid in the integration of Revit models and BIM coordination when applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience as an electrical designer/drafter.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team that includes Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers.

• Must excel in a dynamic environment, be driven by deadlines, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Employment may depend on the successful completion of background checks, drug screenings, and other pre-employment criteria.

• Experience with Revit is an advantage.

• Familiarity with principles in the engineering and construction sectors is preferred.
