Electrical Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Acquiring a comprehensive understanding and execution of the project requirements concerning scope, cost, and timeline.

• Identifying and facilitating the engineering deliverables for various projects.

• Creating and updating the project scope of work documentation and making necessary revisions throughout the design process.

• Designing electrical systems, including power distribution systems, UPS systems, standby generator systems, and security and life safety systems.

• Conducting engineering calculations, schematic designs, and detailed designs.

• Compiling the technical documentation essential for project execution, which includes design criteria, design calculations, process flow sheets, and specifications and data sheets for electrical equipment.

• Reviewing shop drawings for compliance and accuracy.

• Generating models and drawings utilizing various BIM software and CAD modeling tools.

• Employing BIM tools for the virtual construction of electrical systems and coordinating with other disciplines using platforms like Autodesk Revit.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.

• Demonstrated experience as an electrical engineer.

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential.

• Written and spoken English at B1 level or higher.

• Experience in electrical design across industrial, residential, and commercial sectors, including medium voltage and low voltage distribution, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection.

• Practical experience with tools and software such as ETAP, SKM Power tools, Dialux, ElumTools, etc.

• Experience working on projects within a multidisciplinary setting.

• Extensive knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with US electrical engineering codes and safety standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet project deadlines.
