Electrical Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Deliver services as an independent, self-employed expert under a formal independent contractor agreement.

• Assist in the design and coordination of innovative data center projects throughout the U.S.

• Accountable for modeling and designing power distribution, security and life systems, standby generators, and UPS systems.

• Conduct calculations, create technical documentation, and ensure design precision using advanced BIM and electrical engineering tools.

• Work collaboratively with other disciplines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Play a role in the entire project lifecycle from schematic design to execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.

• Demonstrated expertise as an electrical engineer.

• Proficient in written and spoken English at B1 level or higher.

• Experience in electrical design across industrial, residential, and commercial sectors, focusing on medium voltage and low voltage distribution, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection.

• Familiarity with various electrical modeling software.

• Practical experience using tools and software such as Revit Autodesk is essential.

• Experience working on projects within a multidisciplinary environment.

• In-depth knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes.

• Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively while meeting project deadlines.
