Electrical Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.

📋 Description

• Delivering services as an independent business entity through a formal independent contractor agreement.

• Assisting in the design and coordination of innovative data center projects throughout the U.S.

• Accountable for modeling and designing power distribution, security, life systems, standby generators, and UPS systems.

• Conducting calculations, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring design precision utilizing advanced BIM and electrical engineering tools.

• Collaborating closely with various disciplines in a vibrant, fast-paced environment, contributing to the entire project lifecycle from schematic design to execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.

• Demonstrated expertise as an electrical engineer.

• Proficient in written and spoken English at B1 level or higher.

• Experience in electrical design for industrial, residential, and commercial sectors, covering medium voltage and low voltage distribution, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection.

• Familiarity with various electrical modeling software.

• Practical experience using tools and software such as Revit Autodesk, AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM Power tools, and Dialux.

• Background in working on projects in a multidisciplinary setting.

• Extensive knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes.

• Comprehension of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while meeting project deadlines.

• Capable of conveying technical information clearly and understandably.
