Electrical Contractor Exam Prep Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Instruct the assigned course in line with the curriculum plan.

• Foster active online engagement with students.

• Employ teaching methods that help students achieve the defined course objectives.

• Provide mentorship to students and address potential performance challenges.

• Assist in updating course materials as necessary.

• Capable of teaching classes related to Florida Electrical Contractor Trade Exam Preparation and Business & Finance, as required.

• Exhibit thorough knowledge of both the Business & Finance and Trade aspects of the Florida Electrical Contractor’s Licensing Board (ECLB) examination.

• Deliver comprehensive instruction on essential exam subjects including:

• Florida Electrical Code stipulations.

• Construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations.

• Electrical mathematics calculations.

• Contractual obligations and business law.

• Additional knowledge specific to the Electrical trade.

• Develop and assess practice questions that reflect the current exam content.

• Remain updated on ECLB examination changes and requirements.

• Share practical insights and exam strategies derived from personal experience.

• Create and sustain study resources that tackle common exam obstacles.

• Guide students through practice activities and simulated exams.

• Keep abreast of current construction practices, codes, and regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in teaching pre-license courses in construction-related trades or professional education is preferred.

• Must possess a current license as an Electrical Contractor in the State of Florida.
