This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for electric distribution infrastructure, encompassing both overhead and underground systems.
• Support senior engineers in the preparation of technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates for projects focused on grid resiliency and energy transition.
• Conduct calculations and design tasks in accordance with industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices to optimize energy delivery.
• Participate in field assignments with senior staff to gain practical experience in the assessment, planning, and rehabilitation of electric distribution systems.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• No prior experience is necessary; however, previous internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred.
• A strong theoretical foundation along with familiarity with engineering software such as Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work within a collaborative team environment.
• Involvement in a professional engineering society or organization is preferred.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is a plus.
