eLearning Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Create polished and engaging eLearning courses based on finalized instructional design storyboards.

• Design advanced learning experiences utilizing Articulate Storyline 360 and Articulate Rise.

• Develop intricate interactions employing variables, triggers, states, layers, conditions, branching scenarios, and custom interactions.

• Produce scenario-based learning, simulations, knowledge checks, assessments, and various interactive components.

• Configure and publish content in compliance with SCORM and xAPI standards.

• Test and resolve issues with courses across various browsers, devices, and learning platforms.

• Enhance courses for optimal performance, usability, accessibility, and learner experience.

• Design custom 2D animations, motion graphics, animated learning elements, illustrations, icons, characters, and other visual assets.

• Leverage generative AI and AI-assisted development tools to aid in visual development, ideation, asset creation, and workflows.

• Debug course logic, publishing, LMS compatibility, and learner interaction challenges.

• Conduct functional testing and quality assurance prior to delivery.

• Collaborate with Instructional Designers, Project Managers, graphic designers, animators, quality assurance teams, and clients.

• Communicate technical challenges, developmental considerations, timelines, and solutions effectively.

• Manage multiple development assignments while adhering to agreed project deadlines.

• Participate in development reviews and integrate feedback.

• Contribute technical expertise and innovative ideas to enhance PulseLearning’s digital learning solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an eLearning Developer, Storyline Developer, Articulate Developer, Digital Learning Developer, Multimedia Learning Developer, or a similar hands-on development position.

• Advanced skills in Articulate Storyline 360, including the use of variables, triggers, states, layers, conditions, branching, and custom interactions.

• Strong proficiency in Articulate Rise.

• Capability to craft sophisticated eLearning experiences that exceed standard templates.

• Excellent skills in 2D animation, motion graphics, and custom animation development.

• Proven illustration and visual design skills, including the creation of original digital assets.

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools such as After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop, or similar applications.

• Knowledge of SCORM and LMS-based course deployment.

• Familiarity with modern AI and generative AI tools in a digital development workflow.

• Strong attention to detail with high visual and technical quality standards.

• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work from detailed storyboards and established instructional designs.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

• Ability to work efficiently within a remote, collaborative, globally distributed team.

• A portfolio or relevant work samples is required, showcasing advanced Storyline development, custom interactions, branching, animation, custom illustration, and polished eLearning courses.

• Capability to work effectively in a remote environment.
