ELA Assessment Content Creator, Elementary 3-5

📋 Description

• Participate in the development of K-12 assessments by leveraging subject matter expertise and implementing blueprints to produce high-quality assessment content.

• Utilize and contribute to enhancements in content and item management systems.

• Ensure that items are aligned with state standards and adhere to best practices in item development.

• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and various cross-functional teams to create engaging, interactive, and informative assessments.

• Innovate new item types enabled by AI technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in developing ELA assessments for grades 3-5.

• A minimum of 2 years of classroom experience teaching elementary school ELA.

• Extensive pedagogical knowledge and familiarity with state and national standards.

• Emphasis on assessment as a positive experience integrated with learning.

• Driven by the Khan Academy mission to provide free world-class education to anyone, anywhere.

• Experience in collaborative work on time-sensitive projects.

• Interest in utilizing new AI tools as aids in content creation.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills along with meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong time management abilities.

• Proven skills in cross-cultural competency.

• Project management skills, including proficiency with Google Docs, spreadsheets, and other tools.

• Willingness to learn new tools.
