This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Develop new content as required to fulfill regulatory or online auditing platform criteria.
• Edit existing content, making necessary changes for grammar, spelling, and formatting errors while maintaining the standard internal layout.
• Assess content in relation to regulatory, federal, and state standards to ensure compliance with current EHS regulations, making edits or adjustments as required for adherence.
• Evaluate content across various formats, including LMS platforms, digital training kits, safety meetings, safety manuals, and pocket manuals, for essential edits or improvements.
• Compare safety manual content against various online auditing platforms to ensure compliance with auditing standards and procedures of these platforms.
• Stay informed about the latest EHS regulations and guidelines, such as OSHA and EPA, ensuring that all technical safety documentation aligns with these standards.
• Utilize knowledge of EHS regulations and guidelines to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the content created and refined.
• Ensure that EHS technical documentation addresses safety, compliance, and more at various levels within the client's organizational environment.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather information and clarify technical concepts for documentation purposes.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to comprehend client needs and adapt documentation accordingly.
• Effectively communicate with clients to address inquiries and concerns regarding EHS technical documentation.
• Operate independently and manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion and delivery of high-quality EHS documentation.
• Prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and adjust workflows as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in technical writing, environmental science, EHS, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably within the EHS sector.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with EHS regulations and guidelines, including OSHA and EPA.
• Capability to work independently and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in computer use.
