EHS Regional Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation, standardization, and execution of extensive EHS programs that align with regulatory standards, client needs, and industry best practices.

• Foster regional uniformity in high-risk programs, which encompass Contractor Safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Chemical and Hazardous Materials Management, and Emergency Preparedness and Response.

• Guarantee the effective application and development of Safety Management Systems that methodically identify, assess, and control hazards.

• Provide regional supervision of risk identification, mitigation approaches, and performance monitoring.

• Lead and cultivate a team of EHS and Contractor Risk Management specialists throughout the region.

• Create and implement EHS training programs that meet regulatory and organizational standards.

• Conduct and manage site inspections, compliance audits, and program evaluations.

• Ensure adherence to all relevant environmental regulations across the region.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7+ years of experience in EHS compliance, management systems, or a related domain, ideally within facilities operations.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in risk management, contractor safety, or operational safety leadership.

• Proven experience in managing multi-site or regional EHS programs.

• In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks (OSHA, EPA, and relevant local regulations).

• Established capability to lead training sessions and present effectively to various audiences (both in-person and virtual).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

• Competence in standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
